Cambridge businesses may want to be among the audience for an upcoming online learning activity.
The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce will be offering a virtual workshop that will supply insights into the laws that apply to hiring and firing during and after the Covid pandemic. Best practices will be shared, and several other topics are on the agenda for consideration.
The event is intended to help the Chamber's membership hit the ground running in 2022. It will include a discussion of written employment contracts and why they are important, the value in having policies that address working remotely and returning to the workplace after doing so, and whether or not to set a Covid vaccination policy.
The facilitator will be Meagan Swan, a practicing partner with Pavey Law LLP. As it will take place online, there is no dress code, and those who are interested can participate from wherever they have an internet connection.
The presenting sponsors for this activity will be Cowan and MNP. The Logo Design of both of these companies has been added to Chamber's webpage promoting the seminar.
The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce will be starting the new year with the Employment Law – Hiring After (and During) a Pandemic virtual session on January 6th. It will start at 11:00 am and will continue until 12:00 pm. Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
