Two public events taking place this June in Cambridge will celebrate various arts and local artists.
The first event to take place will be the Mayor's Celebration of the Arts. Guests will be able to purchase food samples and drinks while they enjoy visual and literary shows, as well as displays by performers. There is also set to be a juried art expo featuring local artists, kids’ activities, an art mural, and a variety of arts and crafts vendors.
This celebration will be followed by the 19th annual Cambridge Arts Festival. The theme this year is art and technology. There will be interactive shows and musical activities to take part in, two performance stages, the Maker Lab featuring robot creation, and children's activities such as spin art and balloons. In addition, there is going to be an arts and crafts street market and a book swap.
Both of these events will likely be widely advertised throughout the Cambridge area with the help of local printing companies.
The Mayor's Celebration of the Arts will be held at City Hall on June 20th, from 4:30pm - 11:30pm.
The Cambridge Arts Festival will also take place at City Hall, this time on June 21st, from 10:00am - 10:00pm.
