Anyone in Cambridge who has ever dreamed of “treading the boards” is invited to try out for the latest production by a local theatre group.
The Cambridge Community Players will be
staging a production of David French’s “Of the Fields Lately”, and is looking for actors to fill several roles. Two men in their 50’s, one in his 20’s and a woman in her 50’s will be needed.
Those who wish to try out are asked to come with a prepared piece of their own choosing or they can choose to read something that will be provided for them. They will also be expected to do a cold reading of an extract from the play itself.
When it comes to theatre, a printing company is often engaged to help with the graphic design, Posters and Flyers to advertise the event to the general public.
The performances will be staged on different dates between the 15th and 30th April 2016. Rehearsals will take place at the theatre three days a week on Sunday afternoons, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
