Artists to hit the streets in Cambridge this summer

An event has been planned for Cambridge that will give the public a chance to see street artists engaging in their craft, and maybe even give it a try for themselves.

The Cambridge International Street Art Festival will bring together artists from all over the world for two days in mid-August. Along with the “professionals”, there will be a Kidz Chalk Zone where families can express themselves, with no experience necessary.

Along with the works of art, there will be food and music. A portion of the monies raised by the event will be donated to schools, local artists and organizations throughout the community that are involved in the arts. A poster printing company can create a variety of promotional materials to help get the word out to the public about events such as this.

To help make the festival a success, artists, sponsors, donations and volunteers are being sought. A variety of positions and sponsorship levels are available, and the organizers express their thanks for all offers of help, no matter how large or small. Further details about this can be found on its website.

The Cambridge International Street Art Festival will take place on August 13 and 14. More information, as well as applications for artists and volunteers and links for sponsorships and donations, can be found by visiting its website.
