After a long and cold winter, residents of Halifax will have an opportunity to laugh out loud at the 21st annual Halifax ComedyFest.
The annual event, which lasts for four days, will see more than 30 comedians from all across the continent take to one of its 14 different venues throughout the city. It has become so large and has been such a hit with its audiences, that it is one of just three comedy festivals that receive national exposure during the prime time hours on CBC television. This year promises to be no different.
The opening night gala for the festival will see nine well-known comedians entertain the audience. The doors for the function will open at 6:30 pm, with tickets priced at $40 each. After that, other comedy performers will entertain the crowd during the All Star Show, the Homegrown Show, the Not Made for TV-Thursday Late Night Show, Laugh @Lunch, Gala of Laughs, Pub Comedy, and the gala of Laughs Finale. The admission price for these shows varies. Poster printing can be used to produce promotional materials for this type of event.
