Houseplants provide a lot of benefits to a home, and a Halifax activity will provide an opportunity for horticultural newbies to get their feet wet.
The Pint Public House has set the date for a Paint and Sip session, and it will welcome both new and experienced green thumbs. The workshop will cover working with succulents, and all of the materials needed will be covered by the ticket price.
Everyone who Signs up will be invited to choose three succulent from the ones provided, and these fleshy leaved plants tend to be easy to care for. They will then choose the pot they wish to use, and accessories that add an even more personal touch will also be supplied. Everyone will find out how to layer the soil, rocks and other growing medium before they add their new green friends, and shovels and aprons will be available. At the end of the activity, everyone can take their terrarium home with them.
To help make sure everyone gives their container garden top care, they will all be given sheets of care tips. Stationery printers will be able to supply a variety of hand outs for a workshop or class.
This introduction to the art and science of working with succulents is set for April 30th. Everyone is asked to be in their seat by 7:00 pm sharp.
