Halifax Burger Week has grown to be a popular event for foodies, and it is scheduled to return this spring.
Eateries all across the city will be serving up their own unique take on the humble burger, and while the diners are enjoying their meals, they will be helping Feed Nova Scotia to keep making sure everyone in the province has food on the table. These fundraising dishes will be priced at $7 each or higher, and a portion of the sales will be donated to the cause.
Both old favourites and new establishments have already signed on to take part, and the organizers have noted that last year, $126,000 was raised throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). Depending on the location, eateries may be open with limited seating capacity, but there will be lots of takeout and delivery offerings too. The fundraiser will run for 10 days, and masks will be required at each restaurant.
