The 28th annual Halifax International Busker Festival is taking place for six days this July and August.
Several stages will be set up along the downtown waterfront area during the event, although much of the action will take place on the street with traveling performers.
To kick off this year's festival, Busker Feast is taking place on the night before it opens. This will be a dinner event open to both children and adults. Several of the performers confirmed for the festival will be giving attendees a preview of their acts.
As the name of the event suggests, street performers from all over the world will be heading to Halifax. Many of those confirmed come from Australia, the UK, the US, and other parts of Canada. Performers will include Bendy Em, The Bubble Wizard, and the LOL Brothers – all of whom will be competing for the People's Choice Award.
One thing that is new this year is a carnival midway; those interested will be able to buy an unlimited ride pass, or pay individually for each ride.
Organizers of this annual Halifax festival may choose to invest in printing services such as poster and banner printing to market it to the public.
The Halifax International Busker Festival is being held from July 30th to August 4th from 12:00pm - 10:00pm each day. Admission is free, although tips to the entertainers are encouraged. Busker Feast will take place at The Westin Nova Scotian on July 29th, beginning at 6:30pm. Tickets are $65 each.
