Music festival set to return to Halifax in October

The next event in Halifax’s busy calendar, the 21st annual Halifax Pop Explosion Music Festival and Conference, is set to take place over five days next month. The festival is one of many which bring large crowds of people to the area. It is known to attract around 20,000 visitors each year.

The show will consist of musical performances, workshop sessions, speakers, art exhibitions, comedy shows, and several parties. More than 150 musical acts from all over the world are expected to perform, including AA Wallace, Ambition, Dana Beeler, Machinegun Suzie and The Walkmen.

The HPX Digital section of the festival will feature entrepreneurs and business executives such as Johnny Cupcakes, J. Joly and Stacey Mulcahy; all of whom will be giving talks. There will be opening parties for the entire festival and for the HPX Digital portion of the event. Pop Expo will take place on the last day and will feature artists performing live and vendors selling records, magazines, crafts and art.

Halifax printing companies will likely be helping organizers with the designing and printing of tickets and Flyers to advertise the festival.

The Halifax Pop Explosion Music Festival and Conference will take place in 20 venues throughout the city from October 22 to 26. A five-day general admission pass is $75 in advance, a priority pass is $169, a VIP pass is $299 and a HPX Digital pass is $349 or $199 for students.
