Care of the feet can be an important part of healthcare, and an upcoming workshop will offer an introduction to a variety of topics and practices for Halifax footcare professionals.
Dubbed “It’s All About the Toe Nails”, the session will explore toenail care from the perspective of a foot and nail care industry insider. To add even more value, the planners have included a trade show, and the function is set to be hosted at the Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake Hotel.
The class will cover a variety of topics, and several pathologies that can affect the toenails nails will be on the agenda for discussion. It will teach hands-on approaches to ingrown, lifted and curved nails, and will detail proper care techniques, including the use of a BS Brace to reconstruct an injured toenail. It will offer demonstrations on both toenail restoration and bracing, and everyone will receive a certificate of attendance.
