Known affectionately by its residents as “Sackvegas”, the Halifax area community of Lower Sackville will be hosting its annual winter festival next year.
The community’s Business Association will be bringing its Snow Days Festival back for 2021, and everyone who is proud to call the town home is encouraged to come out and show their Sackville pride. Many service and other groups will be getting involved, and the 2020 festival attracted thousands from Halifax, Dartmouth and the surrounding areas.
In previous years, the agenda has included everything from outdoor concerts to a guided walk along the Sackville Connector Trail, and the organizers are hard at work creating a schedule for the coming year that they hope will be just as exciting. While the offerings may need to be adapted due to COVID-19, there will still be lots of fun activities on offer, making it a great way to beat the winter blues.
