Autumn in Halifax brings falling leaves and falling temperatures, and this year, it also means it is time for residents to enjoy a special pop-up market.
Lower Water Street is home to the Halifax Brewery Market, and the establishment will be rolling out the orange and black carpet for a Halloween-themed market this October. Last year's session was such a success that its organizer, the Mom Market Halifax, has brought it back, and it will provide an easy and convenient way for the public to support area makers.
The four-hour-long activity will boast 30 or more vendors all under one roof, and admission will be free. Each of the participating businesses will be distributing swag such as candy and Promotional Products for as long as supplies last. The venue will be decorated in honour of the event, and a costume contest and live music will add even more excitement to the occasion.
A pop-up market gives members of a community an opportunity to enjoy a day of retail therapy while supporting small businesses. Booth decor for an event like this can be prepared by a local banner printing company.
The Halloween Town Market will be bringing lots of thrills and chills to Halifax on October 14th. It will take place from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Halifax Brewery Market.
