Farmers' Markets take place in communities all over Nova Scotia, offering a way for growers and makers to connect with their customers, and a special event will celebrate this sector of the provincial economy.
Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia has organized a special event that will honour the success of this sector. The 20th Anniversary: Gather, Feast, Celebrate event will be held at the Halifax Brewery Market on Lower Water Street, and will offer lots of time for the attendees to mingle, connect and salute one another’s success.
The event will open with a cocktail hour that features a cash bar, light bites and lots of mingling, and after this, the programming for the evening will begin. There will be presentations and remarks from an assortment of guest speakers, and once this portion of the celebration has wrapped up, it will be time for cake, music and even more chances to connect. Anemone Dining will supply the food, and admission is by donation. Tickets will be on offer until October 8th.
