As the word moves towards sustainable energy sources, wood pellets are coming to the forefront, and a Halifax symposium will bring industry insiders together to learn from one another and help the sector grow.
The 2025 Wood Pellet Association of Canada has organized its annual Conference for the Halifax Marriott Waterfront Hotel, and its schedule runs for two days in mid-September. In previous years, the function has attracted delegates from around the world, and the players are hoping it will once again prove to be a success.
The event, which is the largest one of its kind to be held in Canada this year, will open with an optional add-on golf outing at Glen Arbour, and this will include lots of networking out on the links. A facility tour and opening reception are also in the works, and the next day, the conference will get down to business with a schedule of speakers, panels and a barbecue reception. The learning will continue the next day, and throughout the agenda, coffee breaks will encourage even more networking.
