Mid-August will see people from all across Halifax head to the Central Library branch for an evening of fun that may be especially attractive to families.
The venue has made plans to welcome one and all for its Pizza Party in the Plaza, and several activities are on its agenda. The guests at the function will be able to enjoy the pizza that will be served, and there will be games and other fun as well.
The younger guests will be able to bring their favourite cuddly toy to the Teddy Bear First Aid Station that will be set up, and here, volunteers will give them some love and care. They can mend tears, replace missing buttons and add some extra stuffing so that they are in top shape and ready for hugging.
As there will only be limited seating available, everyone may want to bring along portable seating, and in case of rain, the function will be moved indoors to Paul O’Regan Hall.
Libraries often serve as community hubs, hosting everything from small workshops to large celebrations. Marketing services for these can be supplied by local Print shops, which may be counted on to supply everything from promotional Pens to pamphlets.
