Halifax residents are gearing up to celebrate a variety of arts and cultures over the coming months.
The first of which, the 34th annual Scotia Festival of Music, will take place at the Dalhousie Arts Centre over 12 days. It will present the best chamber music performers in the world. There will be concerts, recitals, masterclasses, lectures and a gala evening.

Cedar Festival Halifax will celebrate Lebanese culture for four days. It will be held at Our Lady of Lebanon Parish and feature music, dance, Lebanese food and a marketplace.

Polish Festival 2013 is a free event which will take place at St. Anthony's Church for two days in June. It will present ethnic food, cultural music and dance, games, a raffle and a beer garden.

The third of the events, the RBC Multicultural Festival, is set to take place over three days in June at the Halifax Seaport. It will feature a variety of performers and vendors.
