Burger lovers will be congregating on Halifax for a celebration that will put this popular dish front and centre.
Many eateries will be taking part in Burger Week, and each will have its own unique take that takes their burger to the next level. This annual event, which raises funds for Feed Nova Scotia, has become a popular tradition in the city. Establishments from Argyle Street all the way out to Beaverbank Road have been invited to join the ranks of restaurants that will take part in this fundraiser, which is one of the organization’s greatest revenue streams.
The way the event works is simple. The participants will each create a special burger for the week, and the price for these will start at $6 each. A portion of the monies from each of these sandwiches sold will be donated to the cause, and there will also be special activities taking place in honour of the occasion.
