The Atlantic provinces boasts a wide variety of talented crafters, and many of these artisans will have works on display during an event scheduled for the Homewood Suites by Hilton and Conference Centre in Halifax.
The Craft Alliance Atlantic Association has made plans to welcome those in the retail trade to explore the creative skills of individuals, collectives and small companies from New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. The function is jointly sponsored by these provincial governments, and it is intended to help support the region's small business sector.
This event, which has been held for the past 40 years and attracts interest from all over the world, will include both a virtual and real-world marketplace, and it will be a juried activity. It is only open to the trade, and both potential exhibitors and retailers are welcomed to register now.
The expo host has explained that the retail representatives attending the function will be able to place bulk orders for any items they feel will be a good fit for their particular needs. The dates for the 2022 Craft East Buyers Expo will be February 12th and 13th. The function will run from 9:30 am until 6:00 pm on both days.
