The first Business After Hours event of the season is set to welcome members of Halifax’s Chamber of Commerce, as well as the general public, and it will offer lots of networking opportunities.
This activity, which will be held at the Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake Hotel, will be an in-person mixer, and social distancing protocols will be in place. It will be hosted in the hotel’s Lakeside Ballroom, as well as on its patio, and the attendees will be treated to a special, guided sneak peek into the site’s newly renovated guest rooms.
While the guests at the function mingle and socialize, they will be able to exchange Business Cards and get to know other members of the city's corporate community. Light snacks will be served, and a cash bar service will be on offer as well. Masks are required, unless an individual is seated to drink or eat.
As a special incentive to attend the gathering, the hotel is offering a door prize of a free night in one of its renovated rooms. There will be a draw for this at the end of the event.
The return of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours program is on the agenda for October 7th. The Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake Hotel is located at 250 Saint Margaret’s Bay Road in Halifax.
