Evening to highlight mental health in Halifax

An upcoming Halifax event will seek to raise both funds and awareness for mental health in the local area.

Martinis for Mental Health will see guests enjoying their favorite cocktails in an atmosphere of fun and friendship all while learning about the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and the work it performs in the community. They will also have an opportunity to learn more about mental health and the factors that can impact it, as well as mental illness. A printer will be able to design and prepare Brochures for an organization that can be distributed during an event such as this.

All of the proceeds from ticket sales, along with a portion of the drink prices, will be donated to the CMHA. The event’s organizers noted that only a limited number of passes will be available for the evening, so those who are interested in attending are advised to purchase theirs well ahead of time. They are also encouraged to bring along their friends and partners and have an enjoyable time.

Martinis for Mental Health will be held on December 9 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Noble, which is located at 1563 Barrington Street underneath The Middle Spoon, in Halifax’s downtown core.

More information and an opportunity to purchase tickets can be found on the Eventbrite page that has been set up for the event.
