Making fresh pizza from scratch can lead to a tasty meal, and the students in an upcoming Vancouver workshop will get to learn tips and tricks from a pro.
Vancouver’s Il Centro has organized a workshop that will teach the ins and out of pizza making. It will be taught by Irene, who was born in Italy and has many years of experience, and the methods she will teach will be suitable for the home kitchen.
The students will get started by making the dough, and they will then add the sauce. Toppings will also be on the agenda, and at the end of the session, the learners will be invited to sit down together to sample a slice. They will all go home with some extra dough so they can make a pizza at home for themselves and their family. Tickets are $100 each.
Since it both teaches new skills and also gives the attendees a chance to socialize, a cookery class like this can be a lot of fun. Copies of the recipes used, aprons and other items for a function like this may be purchased from local Print shops.
Il Centro, which can be found at 3075 Slocan Street, will host this class on February 7th. Registrants are asked to arrive by no later than 6:00 pm.
