Vancouver venue hosts Prostate Cancer Symposium

Prostate cancer is a disease that impacts many men, and a Vancouver symposium will see patients, families, caregivers and some of the top specialists in the field share their knowledge and best practices.

The 2nd annual Prostate Cancer Symposium is being presented thanks to support from the Prostate Cancer Supportive Care (PSSC) Program. The Jim Pattison Pavilion in Vancouver will be the location for the function.

The hybrid event will discuss topics ranging from clinical trials and advances in imaging to exercise benefits, and active audience participation will be strongly encouraged. Live, open panels will be held during the morning and afternoon sessions. Those who register to attend in person will receive breakfast and lunch as well as drinks, and the last date to register is September 23rd. The function may be recorded using audio and video devices, and anyone who does not consent to this is asked to contact the organizers to let them know.

Conferences and symposiums may pack a lot of learning into just one day, but there may not be time for all the pertinent information to be shared. A brochure printing company can prepare handouts and other materials so the attendees can continue to learn after a function has drawn to a close.

The 2nd annual Prostate Cancer Symposium will bring a variety of interested individuals together on September 26th. It will begin with breakfast and opening remarks at 8:30 am.
