Indian cooking is well known for its fresh ingredients and bold flavours, and a Vancouver cookery class will teach how to prepare a sampling of this cuisine.
Galloway Foods’ Annie M will be teaching the registrants in the upcoming Indian Cooking workshop how to prepare chicken and vegan samosas as well as chutneys, and it will be a hands-on experience. It will run for two and a half hours, and tickets start at $125.02 each, which includes taxes and fees.
The participants will find out how to bake and fry the chicken and vegan samosas, and the utensils, ingredients and full instruction will all be provided. Homemade chutneys are on the agenda too, as well as mango lassis. Water will be available for anyone who needs a drink, and the recipes used will be emailed out after the session.
Cooking classes like this can give both kitchen newbies and experienced cooks alike a chance to learn something new to prepare at home. Recipe cards can be ordered from Stationery printers to distribute, as they may be laminated to protect them in case of spills.
This introduction to Indian cookery is scheduled for Saturday, January 10th from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. The Skript Kitchen will be the host for the occasion. Tickets can be purchased for the class on Eventbrite.
