Vancouver walk to build next generation of nature lovers

Many kids have an inborn love for nature, and a Vancouver event taking place this fall will teach adults how they can nurture this interest.

Parents, educators and anyone else who is interested is welcome to attend the Connecting Children to Nature workshop, which will show attendees ways that they can foster an interest in nature within their own kids or with the children they work with.

The workshop will include a visit to Pacific Spirit Regional Park, and is open to anyone who is at least 19 years of age. Specially discounted pricing is on offer for those who are 65 years and older.

Attendees will gather at the park before heading out for an excursion. They will be able to try out some sensory activities for themselves and learn about the area’s natural history, as well as tips for keeping youngsters engaged while they are out for a walk in the woods.

A function like this, which is both informative and fun, often makes use of brochure printing to provide the participants with further information to take home. Promotional Products are also sometimes given to each registrant to thank them for attending.

The Connecting Children to Nature workshop will be welcoming the public on October 16th at the Pacific Spirit Regional Park. It will kick off at 1:00pm.
