Vancouver venue to host Burn Education Day

Proper care post-burn can be vital to the healing process, and a Vancouver event planned for those in the medical and allied professions, as well as students, will provide in-person learning on this topic.

The annual BC Provincial Pediatric and Adult Burn Education Day will be offered at Vancouver General Hospital, which has collaborated with the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. Tickets are $50.00 for nurses and allied professionals and $100.00 for doctors, and a discounted admission pass will be available for students.

During the event, the attendees will learn about the latest developments in the field of burn treatment and after care, and the learning will run throughout the day. It will be a multidisciplinary activity, and its scheduled start time will be 8:00 am. Questions about the workshop can be forwarded to the organizers at info@burnfund.org.

Symposiums and other professional development activities give those in a field the opportunity to ensure their knowledge and skill set is up to date, while also fostering collaboration and networking between the delegates. Conference packets can be prepared for such an activity by Stationery printers, and they may include promotional Pens and other swag.

The BC Provincial Pediatric and Adult Burn Education Day will take place this year on November 8th. The registrants are asked to arrive by no later than 8:00 am.
