Brownfields and other contaminated sites will be the focus of a symposium that has been scheduled for later this month in Vancouver, and it will include a special session that addresses one of the latest developments in the remediation sector.
The 14th annual Science Advisory Board for Contaminated Sites Workshop and Conference will run for two days this fall, and a special addition will address the role AI (artificial intelligence) may play in the field. It will be held at Simon Fraser University’s Vancouver Campus, and both in person and virtual attendance options are available.
The activity will bring together industry, academic and government speakers and participants. Everyone can take in the presentations, mingle and network with the other delegates and also share best practices. They can share their challenges and how they were overcome, as well as discussing best practices. It will provide an opportunity to explore contaminated sites from a variety of perspectives, and both days will run from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.
Many conferences and other professional development events see information packages distributed to the delegates. These can be filled with everything from Brochures to promotional Pens, and they may be picked up in person upon check in or mailed out to anyone who plans on attending an event online.
