The Vancouver Independent School for Science and Technology (VISST) has arranged for the Puzzle Programming summer camp to take place in Vancouver this August.
This educational summer camp is most suitable for children age 10 or older who have any level of programming knowledge. Advanced training materials will be available for kids who have taken other classes with VISST and already have experience. Participants are advised to bring a packed lunch to the camp.
Children attending the Vancouver Puzzle Programming camp will learn directly from a UBC computer science professor how to create their own basic video games from scratch. Participants will get the hang of using PuzzleScript to accomplish their goals with a mix of puzzle creation and programming. Topics explored will include video game designing, algorithmic thinking and coding. The organizers of related educational events regularly use brochure printing to present physical Copies of relevant information to parents and children who are interested in signing up for events.
Participants who complete the four-day programming camp will each earn a certificate of completion from the VISST. Tickets cost $225 per person and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
The Puzzle Programming summer camp will be held at Vancouver Independent School for Science and Technology from Tuesday, August 2 to Friday, August 5 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on each day.
