Vancouver ride supports scleroderma research

Scleroderma is a rare and serious autoimmune disease that impacts thousands of Canadians, and a Vancouver ride will raise funds to help research into new treatments and even a cure.

The Scleroderma Ride for Research will take to the trails at Stanley Park, and it will take place in mid-June. There are various ways to get involved, and it can be a fun idea for a Father’s Day activity to enjoy together as a family.

Those who are interested can choose to walk, cycle or cheer on those who do. There will be a 10 km ride and walk around the Stanley Park Seawall, and those who would like a greater challenge can take on the 30 km route to UBC. The fundraiser is part of the larger Scleroderma Awareness Month in Canada that will see funding and awareness raising events held all across the country.

A fundraising activity may also serve as an awareness raiser, and a printing services company can prepare materials that provide information about a cause. It may supply everything from Posters, Brochures and Banners to Promotional Products to distribute to the attendees thank them for their support.

At the time this was written, the registration system for the Scleroderma Ride for Research 2025 was open to the public. It has been scheduled for June 15th in Ceperley Park in Stanley Park.
