Growing orchids can be a fun and rewarding pastime, and a Vancouver activity will soon be welcoming both beginner and experienced “orchidophiles” alike.
The Vancouver Orchid Society has organized its annual Orchid Summer Sale for 2025, and it is expected to draw quite a crowd. A variety of other plants will also be in the mix, and admission will be free.
As well as a large selection of orchids, succulents, aroids and other tropical species will be for sale, and the function will take place in the Floral Hall at Vandusen Garden. A variety of growing supplies will be available, and a pre-ordering system is in place for many of the Canadian and international vendors. The shoppers can meet them in person and ask any questions they have, and it will also be a time to meet others who share their interest in growing these plants. It will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
