The Yaletown BIA advocates for the Vancouver neighbourhood's small business community, and it has a special event in store for this Halloween.
The organization’s membership and other businesses will be partnering with the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre to provide a safe trick or treating experience for local kids with the Trick-or-Treat Route through Yaletown. It will run for two hours, and will be followed up by a Halloween Walkthrough.
Members of the public are invited to stop by the participating Yaletown businesses for some trick or treating, and they will be handing out candy and other treats. To help parents plan, maps of the route that indicate where stops are located will be distributed at the Roundhouse’s front desk, and families do not need to register in advance for this free celebration. This will be the 22nd year that the Yaletown BIA has supported this community activity.
Taking part in trick or treat trails and other seasonal activities give businesses a fun way to show their community spirit. Locally based Print professionals will be able to supply their clients with an assortment of options for treats to distribute such as stickers and promotional Pens.
The 2025 session of Trick-or-Treat Route through Yaletown will begin at 3:30 pm on October 31st, and it will wrap up at 5:30 pm.
