The winter school break can sometimes see parents scrambling to try and find an activity for their kids, but an upcoming day camp in Vancouver may just be able to come to the rescue.
A week of theatre-based activities will be welcoming the city’s kids who are aged between 7 and 15. The camp will begin on Monday morning, and the group will work as a team to put together a musical play right from the ground up. They will prepare all aspects, from a script to costumes and scenery, and it will provide a great opportunity for them to socialize and get some practice in working with others.
Hosting an experience like this for offers a fun way for a community to encourage its younger residents to learn and grow. Promotional Pens, camper T-Shirts and other customized products for this sort of occasion can be sourced from an area printer.
The Make-a-Musical! Day Camp is scheduled to start on March 15th. It will run from 9:00am until 3:00pm each day, and it is set to be held in the Tapestry Community Rooms at 2821 Heather Street. The fee to take part starts at $249, and this includes all five days of the workshop series. Additional information for interested parents can be found on the Active website.
