The Lunar New Year is right around the corner, and a Vancouver venue will be celebrating the occasion by hosting its annual market.
This year will be the Year of the Snake, and it will provide an opportunity to experience a variety of cultural traditions. At least 40 makers from the local area will be on hand for the University of British Columbia (UBC) Botanical Garden’s Lunar New Year Market 2025, and there will be lots of items to browse through.
Dried and fresh flowers, greenery and potted plants will be for sale, and a photo booth, kung fu performance and lion dancers will perform. There will also be food trucks rolling in for the celebration. Workshops will be taking place, and tickets for the occasion also include entry to the garden. A kids craft area will be open throughout the day, and admission will be free for those age five and under.
A festive event may call for themed decor that is equally exciting. A banner printing company will have a variety of choices available, including both single and multiple-use options.
The annual UBC Botanical Garden Lunar New Year Market will be welcoming the public on January 25th and 26th. It will be taking place at 6804 SW Marine Drive, and more details can be found on the UBC website.
