Dumplings are a food enjoyed all over the world, and an upcoming Vancouver festival will introduce the public to a wide selection of these tasty morsels.
A tasting evening is in the works for the city’s foodies, and it will feature dumplings prepared in a wide variety of styles, with many local eateries taking part. The tasting bowls and plates will allow them to sample lots of food, and each restaurant’s chef will be creating their own take on the dish.
The dumplings that will be on offer will include popular types such a tortellini, empanadas and Vietnamese style dumplings, and the function is a production of Tasting Plates and Vancouver Foodster. The tickets for the tour are $69 per person. Each participant will receive tasting plates or bowls at each stop, and it will be a self-guided experience.
Being part of a tasting tour gives an eatery a way to introduce itself to potential future diners. Special Drinkware, printed Menus and other materials for such an occasion may be ordered from local Print shops, along with printed maps of the various participating establishments.
Dumpling Fest Vancouver will be serving up a tasty experience on October 6th. It will take place from 6 pm to 10 pm. Anyone who would like to take part will need to purchase their tickets online.
