The trails of English Bay are due for a good summer clean up, and the public has been asked to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand.
This Vancouver event is open to anyone who wants to help, and as many hands make light work, the organizers are hoping for a big turnout. It will be a family-friendly activity, and all levels of ability will be welcome.
Registrants will meet at the Jericho State Beach entrance, and here, they can sign in and pick up the supplies that will be provided for them. United by Blue will provide the Bags, gloves and other materials that will let participants do their job safely, and when the work is done, it will be time for the fun to start.
Once the clean-up is complete, attendees will be invited to stay and enjoy a presentation by the community organizations that have partnered to lend the local environment a helping hand. There will be giveaways of Promotional Products and other items as well as games, snacks and a chance to meet others who have made caring for the earth one of their top priorities.
