More people are discovering that mocktails can be just as tasty as their alcoholic counterparts, and a Vancouver workshop will give home bartenders a grounding in preparing these drinks.
The Fine Art Bartending School has scheduled an Intro to Mocktails: Learn the Art of Alcohol-Free Cocktails class for the home bartender, which will include tips and tricks for preparing three different mocktails. It will be a hands-on session led by an experienced professional in collaboration with Mocktails, Vancouver’s alcohol-free liquor store.
The facilitator for the workshop will offer an introduction to mocktail culture, and will also explore how it has really expanded in recent years. Everyone can learn the basic skills needed to prepare mixed drinks, and there will also be an opportunity to taste test top brands of alcohol-free spirits. Recipe cards will be provided for the attendees to take home so that it will be easy to recreate them at their own bar, and the class will run for two hours.
Learning as part of a larger group can be a lot of fun, and organizers of these activities often choose to order Promotional Products to hand out before everyone heads for home.
The Fine Art Bartending School has teamed up with the Mocktails to offer this introduction to the world of non-alcoholic beverages on August 28th. It will begin at 6:30 pm at 432 West Pender Street.
