A Vancouver café that seeks to attract feline lovers recently announced that it has had to temporarily close its doors as a victim of its own success. Fortunately, it was able to reopen without much of a wait.
The Catfe
, which gives people a chance to enjoy their favorite hot drink while spending time with cats who need new homes, literally ran out of one of the reasons it opened. The cats were available for adopting, and just three weeks after it opened, 11 of the felines were taken in by new owners.
The cats had been obtained by the B.C. SPCA, and according to Michelle Firbacher, the owner of Catfe, the road closures that had occurred due to bad weather had postponed the next delivery of them. She further went on to tell CTV Vancouver that these logistical problems would hopefully be worked out quickly, and it would reopen without much of a delay.
Once again open for business, people are invited to make a reservation and pay a visit for themselves. Only 16 people are allowed in at any given time, and space for walk-ins is limited to two an hour. Most cafes may need to Print Flyers to advertise a re-opening, but Catfe is unlikely to have such a need.
Anyone who would like to learn more is invited to visit the cat café website.
