Tie-dyeing can be used to create clothing and other items that are fun and festive, and an upcoming class in Vancouver will give attendees the chance to become acquainted with this process.
Everyone who comes out to the Summer Tie Dye Workshop that will be held at Vancouver’s Pacific Arts Market will be able to make their own shirt, which they will be able to keep or give to someone special. The session will take two hours to complete, and all the materials needed will be provided.
Shirley Jade, the instructor for the day, will walk the group through the steps of choosing their colours, mixing the dye and applying it to their clothing item. Everyone will learn wrapping and binding methods for the fabric, and they will also discover how to create unique looks. The T-Shirts provided will be made from 100% cotton, and tickets are $80.
The summertime can be a great time to learn some new crafting skills, and a workshop offers a fun way to do so. A flyer printing company can prepare items that help spread the word about an activity like this to local residents who may be interested.
The Pacific Arts Market can be found at 1448 West Broadway in Vancouver. It will be offering the Summer Tie Dye Workshop on July 30th.
