Vancouver foodies who appreciate artisan-style sausages will get to learn how to prepare them in their own home kitchen when they attend an upcoming cookery class.
The team at II Centro have scheduled a workshop that will be all about preparing authentic Italian sausage from scratch. Tickets, which include taxes and any applicable fees, are $107.83, and the instruction will be supplied by subject matter expert Luigi Bastone.
The activity, which will be hands-on, will use an assortment of basic ingredients, and both mild and spicy versions will be prepared. Everyone will get to sample seasoned pork loin, as well as salami, and they can take home their creations with them at the end of the class. Everyone is asked to bring an apron as well as a container. Only a limited number of spaces are available, and the runtime for the event is three and a half hours.
Many people appreciate the opportunity to learn some new skills and cooking techniques. Recipe cards and other handouts for a culinary class can be prepared by a printing services company.
This hands-in introduction to the art of preparing authentic style Italian sausages will be on offer on January 20th. The venue will be the Italian Cultural Centre located at 3075 Slocan Street in Vancouver, and it is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.
