Multinational company opens first Canadian branch

For some time, Vancouver has been on the cutting edge of providing high-end shopping experiences, and the latest addition to its ranks is no exception.

In a joint venture with LVMH, internationally-renowned jeweler and diamond giant DeBeers recently opened its first Canadian boutique style store in the Alberni Street neighborhood. It joins other such luxury retailers in the area as Tiffany and Co, as well as the Fairmount Vancouver and Shangri-La Hotels.

DeBers’ decision to open its first Canadian store in Vancouver was based on many factors, one of which is the city’s great international reputation. The location sits in the middle of the Alberni Corridor, which places it right in the hub of the city’s high-end retail area. This should help it to attract many well-heeled shoppers every day.

According to store representatives, response to the new location has been good, and there has been plenty of foot-traffic through the store. With jewelry pieces costing upwards of $20,000, this is great news for the company.

The city has recently become a hotspot for international investment. The opening of luxury boutiques and other shops, hotels, and restaurants can provide many knock-on economic benefits to other businesses in the area, as well as the surrounding community.

Print companies are sure to reap the benefits as the demand for their services rises. New businesses have many promotional needs, ranging from signage and digital Business Cards to Flyers, Posters and even Stationery. A professional printing firm can provide all of these at a very reasonable price.
