Heart finishes tour in Vancouver

Print companies in Vancouver, B.C., could have been on hand at the final Heart show in Canada last Saturday, printing promotional information about the musical group. At the Queen Elizabeth Theatre this past Saturday, the band ended its current, 20-day tour across Canada in a city that was noteworthy in its formation almost 40 years ago.

While the Wilson sisters—the Americans girls who are the primary component of the classic rock band, Ann and Nancy—have aged with the times, they showed no sign of it at their performance at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Rocking as hard as they ever have, Nancy still plays her guitar with as much excitability and enthusiasm as ever, while sister Ann can still belt out those vocals with as much power as ever.

At their Saturday night performance, classic Heart tunes were featured, which was a must in order to please the crowd. Some examples were their old hits “Barracuda,” “These Dreams,” and “Crazy on You.” Because the gals have not slowed down with age, new songs from their 2010 CD, Red Velvet Car, were also on display at the show.

Mindful of precisely where they were playing, the Wilson sisters mentioned their connections to Vancouver throughout the set. Those connections included playing some local venues and events in addition to recording their first successful record, which was named Dreamboat Annie.

Poster printing companies in Vancouver, B.C., are on hand to help any band, from world famous stadium rockers to up and coming stars, promote their gigs.
