Fujifilm North America joined by Fujifilm Canada

Print companies in Vancouver may want to follow what is occurring with the structuring of the Fujifilm company. Fujifilm Canada, which has a regional office in Vancouver, is now a part of Fujifilm North America as a subsidiary.

The history of Fujifilm North America was quite short: It was only created on January 1, 2010, in order to bring together both Fujifilm Graphic Systems USA Inc. and Fujifilm USA Inc. as a single unit. Now with the joining of the Canadian subsidiary of Fujifilm, the goals of Fujifilm that include a larger impact in North American markets and getting bigger collaboration in business will be supported.

According to the Fujifilm North American Cooperation CEO and president, Ryutaro Hosoda, this realignment is not any shocking news since Fujifilm had already warned people about this last year. He reiterated that his company announced that in 2010, Fujifilm would align its structure by region in China, North America, Asia, and Europe.

On the move regarding Fujifilm Canada specifically, Hosoda claimed that it would continue the stronger positioning of Fujifilm in North America for the purpose of serving customers in the region with both more effectiveness and efficiency.

The president of Fujifilm Canada, Scott Saito, defended his firm. He stated that Fujifilm Canada is a proven provider of solutions for customers regarding technologies which offer the core of graphic arts, imaging, media products, and photofinishing.

Print companies in Vancouver may want to monitor what is occurring with Fujifilm Canada, which has a regional office in the city, when considering what services they offer to their local customers.
