The works of art either up for sale or auction were donated by local and regional artists. Artists whose work is available include painter Elko Nowak, photographer Dan Kirchner and printmaker Joe Mender, Jr.
A reception will take place beginning at 6 pm. It will feature non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers, a live painting demo from Cliff Milne and silent and live auctions. Raffle tickets for prizes such at Vancouver Canucks hockey tickets will also be available for sale. Lexis Thomas and other musical artists will entertain.
No doubt art lovers from all over the Vancouver area will want to flock to this event. Even if they don’t buy anything it will be an excellent chance to view some wonderful art from area artists. Local printing companies have probably been busy helping the organizers by providing such items as the raffle tickets.
