Since its debut in 1978, the Vancouver Folk Music Festival has been gathering musicians from across the globe who play roots and folk music. The festival aims to celebrate a diverse variety of traditional music while giving developing and emerging artists a chance to play for audiences of thousands of people.
The 45th Vancouver Music Festival will feature a line-up that includes artists from Canada, USA, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Finland, India and Chile. Both returning musicians and new artists alike will be performing at the festival. The organizers of major events often use poster printing as the solution to reaching thousands of people across the city with eye-catching printed graphics.
Tickets are available to buy online in advance. Children aged 12 and younger may check in at the festival for free if accompanied by a guardian or parent who has purchased a ticket. Those aged 14 or older who wish to help at the event can fill out an online application.
The 2022 Vancouver Folk Music Festival is planned to begin on Friday, July 15 at 3:00 pm and finish on Sunday, July 17 at 11:00 pm. The event will be held at Jericho Beach Park.
