Spring in Vancouver means flowers will be popping up all over, including in the top of some cakes that will be decorated during an activity that will bring out everyone’s inner pastry chef.
The Spring Fling Cake Decorating Class will be a creative affair and everyone will receive the materials they need to get decorating. They can learn and practice an assortment of techniques, and it will also provide a chance to rub shoulders with other home bakers.
Each attendee will be given a bento-sized mixed berry flavoured cake, and they will also receive the icing so they can decorate theirs in style. Piping materials will also be included, and flowers and greens will add a touch of spring to each creation. Everyone will also receive a drink of their choice from the venue’s menu, and the activity has been organized by Open Pantry.
