Vancouver enjoys culinary visit to Italy

Vancouver foodies will soon be able to enjoy a taste of Italy without having to travel, and it will be led by Chef Roberto Granito, who hails from Rome itself.

The attendees in the culinary experience that is on the way for the city will be treated to a taste of traditional fraschette, and the evening will combine food, music and wine to create a special experience. It will be offered on one night only, and the meal will consist of seven courses.

The guests will learn about the cuisine that is traditional to the Castelli Romani and Ariccia regions of Italy. While they enjoy the fare, Chef Roberto will regale them with stories about the culinary traditions of the area where he grew up. The recipes will be family favourites, and Italian wine will be poured to enjoy along with the dinner. A gluten-free option can be served upon request.

When preparing for a culinary activity, organizers may choose to order printed recipe cards to distribute to the attendees. Stationery printers will have a range of options, and they may be laminated so they easily be wiped clean in case of a kitchen spill.

The Skript Vancouver, which is located at 250 West 3rd Avenue, will host A Roman Fraschetta Experience on July 31st. It will begin at 6:00 pm.
