Vancouver plans fun day for dogs

A festival planned canine chums in mind will soon be bringing arriving in Vancouver with lots of fun.

Day of the Dog Vancouver is fast approaching, and it will be on offer at 1100 Mainland Street. The free Yaletown festival is open to all. Humans are welcome to bring along their dog, and there will be lots to do for both people and their pets.

The festivities will be filled with plenty of photo ops, including a picture booth which has a superhero theme. A scavenger hunt and pool party are on the agenda, and a yoga session is in the works as well. The listing for the day explained that prize draws have been scheduled, and one of the winners will receive treats and food for an entire year.

Along with the rest of the excitement, the participant will each receive a swag bag, for as long as supplies last.
