Vancouver market to be boon for gift buyers

Vancouver is about to be treated to an activity that may make finding holiday gifts easier.

The Silver Harbour Christmas Market will soon be offering members of the public the chance to enjoy a one-stop shopping event. While admission will be free, the monies raised will support activities at the Silver Harbour Seniors’ Activity Centre.

The items that will be available at the market will range from stained glass to holiday decor, and there will also be items like flower bulbs and table centrepieces, which may be good ideas for hostess gifts for seasonal parties. Budget-minded shoppers may score some thrift shop treasures, and a tea room will be set up so anyone who would like some light refreshments can sit back and relax. Much of what will be on offer will have been crafted by those who participate in the centre’s programming.

When preparing for a public market or similar event like this, organizers may be asked to consider how best to promote the activity to the local community. A flyer printing company will be happy to help, and can provide full range options at various price points.

The Silver Harbour Christmas Market will be open to shoppers from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on November 16th. It will be held at 44 East 22nd Street.
