Cacti come in many Forms, from epiphytic rainforest types to ones usually seen in the desert, and these special plants will be joined by succulents during a sale that will welcome Vancouver plant enthusiasts.
The Desert Plant Society of Vancouver has scheduled an event it hopes will appeal to area plant lovers, and everyone is encouraged to stop by. It will be open to the public for two days, and the Vandusen Botanical Gardens will be the venue for the occasion.
Those who come to do some shopping will be able to browse through more than 40 tables, and while they browse, they can ask questions from those who have the inside scoop on successfully cultivating these species. There will be specimens that tend to be rare and hard to find, and there will be tips shared for providing them with top care.
Horticulture is a hobby that may be enjoyed by all ages, and those who take part in the pastime may appreciate an opportunity to learn more.
