The Chefs’ Table Society serves as a collective voice for the British Columbia culinary community, and it has organized a special event for Vancouver.
The society will soon host the Chowder Cup, where chefs will go head to head to see who has the best chowder in town. This will be its first year.
The chefs that take part in the Chowder Cup will be putting their best recipes to the test, and the ticketholders will be invited to try them all. The entries will be judged by a panel of chefs, and there will be beverages provided alongside each chowder tasting. The event is open only to those age 19 and up, and as it will be a cocktail-style reception, there will be no tables or seats. At least eight chefs will be participating, who at the time of writing are still to be announced. The event will run for two and half hours, and tickets start at $104.60 each.
A competition or other event may call for a specially designed trophy, certificate or other award. These can all be prepared by a local printing services company that offers in-house Graphic Design Services.
The Chefs’ Table Society of BC has scheduled its inaugural Chowder Cup for February 5th. It will take place at Heritage Hall, located at 3102 Main Street.
