Springtime sees colourful tulips popping up in gardens all across Vancouver, and an upcoming art class will capture the beauty of these blooms.
The Vancouver Convention Centre has scheduled an art class that will be suitable for everyone from the beginner to the seasoned artist. It will be facilitated by a representative of the Vancouver Visual Art Foundation, and tickets to be part of the session start at $54.57.
The class will create paintings of tulips in a glass vase, and while they work, the attendees will learn a variety of techniques for working with acrylic paints. They will be walked through the process, from choosing their materials on up, and they will find out how to use various methods to create the illusion of depth and light in their painting. Everyone will be able to let their creativity flow, and adding their own personal touches will be highly encouraged.
All of the supplies needed to take part are included in the ticket price. A poster printing company will be happy to work with an event organizer to supply them with the marketing materials they need to promote an event like this one
Tickets for this introduction to acrylics will be held on May 6th, with a start time of 2:45 pm. It will take place at 1055 Canada Place in Vancouver.
